I L L B E H A V I O U R, an anomaly in the habits of the well and able; an act of de-habituation towards the rhythms and signals that the body sends. With XUE, Anise/Suhui Hee delves into qualia, embodied and disembodied states and the internal experience, experimenting with auscultations and the body uncanny.

I L L B E H A V I O U R deconstructs the intimate act of listening in on our own bodies and translates that into an audiovisual performance.

non-breaking space is a hybrid digital art exhibition and EP release by Anise and Brandon Tay featuring 5 music tracks and illustrations immersed in an interactive visual experience commissioned by SIFA.

non-breaking space explores the othering of nature from humanity. Taking the shape of five music tracks within an experimental digital space, the artwork brings the audience on an auditory journey from dark electronica and glitchy beats, meandering choral glissandos and sparse rhythms, to raw emotive performances. Beginning with the apocalypse and ending with an ode to decomposition and a return to love, each piece unravels a sprawling visual landscape and invites the audience to sojourn within themselves.
